Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ClipWorkshop, an AI-assisted video creation platform ("Service", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ClipWorkshop, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction if that's higher. If you're under 18, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Service.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you notice unauthorized use of your account.

3. Content You Upload

You retain ownership of any images, video, audio, or other material you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transform it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you — for example, generating an edited video from a clip you provide.

You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to anything you upload. Don't upload content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.

4. AI-Generated Output

The Service uses automated tools to generate video, image, audio, and text output based on your inputs and prompts ("Generated Output"). Generated Output may be imperfect, may resemble output generated for other users from similar prompts, and is provided without warranty of originality, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may use Generated Output for personal or commercial purposes. You're responsible for reviewing Generated Output before publishing it and for ensuring your use of it complies with applicable law, including advertising and platform-specific content rules.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Create content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes someone else's intellectual property or publicity rights.
  • Impersonate a real person without their consent, or create misleading synthetic media of real individuals.
  • Upload malware, attempt to breach the Service's security, or interfere with other users' use of it.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell access to the Service without our written permission.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, or at our discretion with reasonable notice. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Generated Output will meet your expectations.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClipWorkshop LLC won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the Service or by email before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
