Content License
Last updated: August 7, 2026
This License describes what you can and can't do with (1) content you generate using ClipWorkshop ("Generated Output") and (2) the ClipWorkshop software, templates, and stock assets made available through the Service.
1. Your Generated Output
Subject to your ClipWorkshop plan and compliance with our Terms of Service, you're granted a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, publish, and monetize Generated Output you create — including posting it to social platforms, using it in advertising, or licensing it to others.
This license applies to the specific combination of output ClipWorkshop generates for you. It doesn't grant you ownership of the underlying models, templates, stock footage, music, or fonts used to produce it — those remain the property of ClipWorkshop or our licensors, and are licensed to you only as embedded in your Generated Output.
2. Stock Assets and Templates
Video templates, stock clips, background music, and voice options provided within the Service are licensed to you for use only as part of Generated Output produced through ClipWorkshop. You may not download, extract, or redistribute these assets on a standalone basis, or use them to build a competing product.
3. Restrictions
You may not use Generated Output to:
- Create content that infringes a third party's copyright, trademark, or right of publicity.
- Generate synthetic media depicting a real person doing or saying something they didn't, in a way intended to deceive.
- Claim that ClipWorkshop-generated content was created entirely without AI assistance where that representation would be misleading (for example, in contexts requiring such disclosure by law or platform policy).
4. Attribution
Attribution to ClipWorkshop isn't required for content on paid plans. Content produced on free plans may include a small ClipWorkshop watermark, which paid plans can disable in export settings.
5. Software License
ClipWorkshop grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service through supported web and app clients, for your own personal or business use, for as long as your account remains active and in good standing. You may not copy, modify, decompile, or create derivative works of the ClipWorkshop software itself.
6. Open Source Components
The Service incorporates certain open-source software components, each governed by its own license terms. A list of components and their licenses is available on request at the contact below.
7. Termination of License
Your license to use Generated Output created while your account was in good standing survives termination of your ClipWorkshop account. Your license to access the Service itself ends when your account is closed or terminated.
